Winterfest
In December, our corporate office transforms into a department store. Over the course of a day, community team members come in with their families and “shop” for items donated to and purchased by Aegis. Hundreds of Aegis Living employees are provided with free toys, gifts, raffle prizes and more. Kids get to take photos with Santa and everyone gets to enjoy hot chocolate, gingerbread house competitions, and other holiday festivities.
Potato Soup Foundation
Dwayne Clark and Aegis Living established the Potato Soup Foundation with the principal purpose of helping Aegis Living team members and their families in extreme times of need. The foundation has helped provide Aegis employees and their loved ones with emergency medical treatments, emergency housing, funeral expenses, and a variety of other crisis situations. We believe in supporting our employees and families as much as possible, especially in their time of need.

We help our team members carve a career path to success through a variety of programs and initiatives. We proudly promote from within and have clear career growth maps that our team members can follow.
EPIC
EPIC (Empowering People, Inspiring Consciousness), Aegis Living’s annual leadership meeting, is a three-day celebration of the human spirit and a seminar for self-improvement. EPIC is a chance to “hit the pause button of life” and focus on your personal goals, growth, and needs. To ignite this personal development, a host of renowned speakers reflect on their own personal challenges, teach new ways to approach life, and inspire with their stories.
The ELEVATE Program
Our ELEVATE Program is one of our main people-development strategies. Our goal is to build a talent pipeline of leaders to support our growth and provide long-term career opportunities for our people. This program provides skill sets and training in all departments over the course of five months that includes on-the-job training in communities and formal training classes at our Home Office. Upon graduation of the program, leaders have the opportunity to interview and be promoted into Director of Operations roles and potentially General Manager roles in the future.

Aegis Living is proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package to eligible employees. We continually evaluate our benefits offerings to ensure that we remain competitive—not only with other companies in our industry but also with other companies in the communities in which we live and work. Benefits may differ based on position, so be sure to ask the hiring manager for more details.
Medical, Dental, Vision:
Our employees have a choice between three medical plans, a dental plan, and a vision plan for their healthcare needs. Aegis Living shares in the cost for dependent coverage.
401K, Life Insurance, Flex Spending:
We offer flexible spending accounts, life insurance, and a 401(k) retirement plan with corporate match.
$1 Meals:
For team members working in our communities, we offer meals for every employee for $1 and three family members for $3 through the employee’s respective community.
Educational Assistance:
Our Educational Assistance Program will reimburse employees for tuition expenses, up to a certain amount, that can be directly related to a career path at Aegis Living.
Employee Bonuses:
If a community exceeds its financial goal for the quarter, then a certain percentage is allocated back to the employees in that community in recognition for delivering excellent service and care.
Appreciation Days:
Employees receive appreciation days which are extra paid days off, in addition to vacation and sick time, that can be used however they’d like. Hours are accrued based off of tenure.
