Our dad has been at Aegis Laguna Niguel for 2½ years. We have always felt that he is well taken care of—physically, mentally, and socially. Staff knows residents and family on a first-name basis and sincerely cares about our family and our dad’s wellbeing. We love the stable, safe, and family atmosphere of Aegis. It really feels like a home for our dad. We have never worried for his safety and know he is loved and cared for by his Aegis family. We couldn’t imagine him anywhere else. We are grateful that Aegis was a choice for him when the need arose for him to have assisted living, and the transition to Memory Care was practically seamless.

From day one, Mom has loved her apartment, enjoys the relationships with other residents and staff. She has thrived by enjoying fun activities and the wonderful food the chef creates. Moving Mom to Aegis of Laguna Niguel was a wonderful decision to provide her the best way to enjoy the golden years happily and safely.

Prior to choosing Aegis, the [Aegis] team made sure our family was prepared with what to expect when a family member needed to move into assisted living but was not themselves prepared to do so. The initial transition day was extremely rough for our family and for our loved one, but the team handled it with dignity and grace and patience… Immediately [my uncle] was respected and loved by the team, and within a few days, he felt at home, engaged, welcomed, RESPECTED, and they surrounded him with wonderful new friends. There’s not a day that goes by that [my uncle] doesn’t call to brag about everyone at Aegis, how much he loves it, how good the food is, how many activities he is doing, and how thankful he is to feel like he is at his new home. He has re-named Aegis Living to Ageless Living and we are thankful for everything the team does to embrace him, love him, and respect him.

Words cannot express the gratitude I feel for having Dad in Memory Care at Aegis! The Aegis staff take exceptionally good care of Dad and all of his buddies in there. The space is warm, inviting, and well-kept, and my Dad is genuinely very happy and calm every time we visit. Aegis is truly an answer to our prayers.
