The life enrichment team plans so many fun experiences for the residents. There is always a smile on the residents when they are involved doing the activities. Like so many of us seniors, my wife and I were quite reluctant to give up our own home when it became clear that we could no longer live on our own. After looking at a number of places we decided to join Aegis Mercer Island. We could not have made a better decision, and the only question was 'why didn't we come here earlier?' The quality of care here is second to none, the atmosphere among our fellow seniors is most pleasant, and the interaction with staff is genuinely cordial. And, of course, the meals here are like in a first class restaurant, served with grace and professionalism. We are kept busy, in the best way possible, with activities ranging from daily exercise classes to book readings to crafts to first rate movies, even bingo—something for everybody here.
