My mom and stepdad have lived at Aegis on Madison for almost a year. I am so grateful to Aegis for the great care they are receiving. Just a few reasons why:

The staff is incredibly caring and supportive. They are always responsive to my emails and calls about my folks. I’ve come to know many of them on a first-name basis and consider them trusted friends.

The community and its activities are thoughtful and inclusive—there is a movie theater inside the building with a new movie every night, various religious services held every weekend (Aegis itself is non-denominational), outside speakers/professors on various topics, and many excursions to local shops and events.

There are support groups for family members to attend if they choose.

There are holiday events for the residents and their families, such as Easter Brunch.

My folks moved to Aegis from another retirement home—and Aegis has been a godsend for my family.

My mother first moved into Aegis Madison this summer while my dad was still in his fifth hospitalization of the year. While [she is] normally introverted, I watched her blossom as she was welcomed into this vibrant community. Maintenance staff was very helpful getting things done to help set up her new home. Care staff were in spot 1! Once my father was discharged into their Assisted [Living] apartment, he was welcomed in a celebratory manner. His needs have recently increased, and the staff have been very helpful and responsive while at the same time supporting my mother. I am so happy to have them nearby and feel confident knowing they are getting the care they need.

Aegis Madison cares deeply about my Mother. The staff is caring, warm, and welcoming and super responsive to any questions or concerns. My Mother is more physically and socially active than she has been in the last ten years. I can sleep at night knowing that my Mother is in a safe, caring place like Aegis on Madison.
