After joining Aegis Living Ravenna my mother seems much more vibrant and happy. She enjoys meeting other people and taking part in so many different activities. For example, she participates in a Scrabble game on Saturdays, after not playing for years! The food is outstanding, and the staff so warm and welcoming when we come to visit. The location next to Maple Leaf Park couldn’t be more ideal for someone who likes to take walks or just to watch the activity from their studio window.

My wife has been a memory care resident at Aegis Ravenna for over two years. I am very grateful for the care she has received and continues to receive. The staff know my wife well, and do all in their power to give her the highest possible quality of life. The Life Enrichment team provides great activities several times a day. I am moved to see how often many memory care residents enjoy the music programs—music is a language they still can understand. The meals from the kitchen are consistently delicious. When I visit, I can see that meals are always a high point in the residents’ day. The nursing staff is outstanding. Somehow they manage to know each resident, and all their medical needs. Aegis Ravenna is well managed, and the Site Manager works hard to know and understand each and every resident. It has been a privilege to have my wife cared for at Aegis Ravenna. She is as happy as she could be, and the care she receives is better than I could have hoped for.

Aegis Ravenna is the most magical memory care facility on the planet! The staff and caregivers are exceptional and truly the most loving and selfless people I’ve ever met. The activities, food, and care/nursing staff are top notch! I honestly consider the staff as well as many of the residents to be part of my family. I’ve shared many tears of joy as well as tears of sadness that come along with Alzheimer’s. Regardless of the circumstances someone is ALWAYS there for help and support. As we all know one can’t put a price on love, understanding, and compassion. The facilities are also beautiful and so well thought out. Nothing was missed when it comes to attention to detail. Most importantly I know my dad is in the best care possible and will live out his remaining days surrounded by love, true love.
