After one month of respite care at Aegis, my husband told me that he wanted to move in permanently. The care he receives at Aegis has provided him with an increased cognitive level, more independence, and new friendships. Residents are encouraged to participate in numerous and interesting activities. The entire staff is friendly, caring, and devoted to each resident. Doug's needs are met 24 hours a day and he is at peace with his life. Being at Aegis has not only been good for him, but has allowed us to have a better, happier relationship and given me back a healthier life, physically and emotionally.

I feel very at home here. I feel safe. The staff is very outgoing. The food is incredible. The maintenance is terrific. There is nothing I would change about living here.

My mother moved to Aegis into a respite assisted living apartment that was fully furnished while my dad was on his fourth hospitalization in just a few months. Prior to that, he was the primary caregiver to my mother with Alzheimer’s. While my generally introverted mother was there for 3-4 weeks, she was welcomed into the community and I got to see her blossom. She was lunching with the ladies, attending exercise classes, and other activities.

My husband needed Respite Care after two surgeries and a month in a ‘skilled nursing facility’… After touring Aegis and two other facilities, I chose it. It has been a wonderful experience. Everyone there has been friendly and very helpful. And the food is exceptionally good. There are activities every day and family members are welcome to attend also… I highly recommend Aegis. This is the facility I would want to go to if I needed care.

The Cost of Care

We know that providing the best possible care for your loved one is what’s most important, so it’s essential to know what costs to expect. At Aegis Living, our pricing is broken down into two main costs—rent and care—and a one-time community fee.

Apartment Rental

Monthly rent covers the cost of your loved one’s apartment and includes services such as housekeeping, meals, transportation, and utilities.

Care Services

When it comes to care, we charge based on care points—charging individually for the care services that the resident will receive and paying only for what they need. This structure allows families to remove or add services as their loved ones’ needs change.

Community Fee

Your one-time community fee contributes to maintaining our beautiful communities for your enjoyment, as well as to preparing for your arrival.

If you’d like to get a quote for pricing, please contact the community you’re interested in. Rent varies based on the apartment you’re interested in and care costs are unique to each prospective resident.
