Known for our expertise in Memory Care, we offer a spectrum of options for respite guests diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and other dementias, from transitional Assisted Living to dedicated Memory Care.

Our proactive and attentive care and nursing staff is available to assist in mobility—including Hoyer lifts and two-person transfers—and wellness needs like medication management and insulin injections.

Our partner Powerback Rehabilitation offers onsite physical, occupational, and speech therapy.

Yes, Respite Care can be tailored to meet the specific medical condition or care needs of your loved one. At Aegis Living, our trained staff are experienced in caring for elderly residents with memory loss, limited mobility, physical limitations, and illness.

Respite Care is designed to provide a short-term break and relief for primary caregivers. Respite Care is usually for a couple weeks to a month. In contrast, long-term care is intended for residents who require ongoing assistance in either Assisted Living or Memory Care over an extended period of time.

To arrange Respite Care, you can either call the community you’re interested in or fill out a contact form on the community webpage and our marketing director will guide you through the process.

All our communities are pet friendly, allowing residents to bring their small beloved pets for companionship. Speak with the general manager of the community to clarify any limitations.

Monthly rent covers the cost of your loved one’s apartment and includes services such as housekeeping, meals, transportation, and utilities.

Care Services

When it comes to care, we charge based on care points—charging individually for the care services that the resident will receive and paying only for what they need. This structure allows families to remove or add services as their loved ones’ needs change.
